resetting mistake

so I was feeling awesome with my dream town map and
i was really happy with my villagers getting ready to transfer
my stuff back to my new town and I realized something vital..
i left all 18 mil bells back in the town I reset holy poop, has anyone
else goofed up big time while resetting like this?

Man, that sucks. I know that has happened to a few people forgetting things. Sorry that happened.

I've only forgotton a few items that I could easily get back, except when I made my current town, I had a friend helping me transfer. It wasn't until after everything was transferred back to my new town that I realised a few things were missing. I don't know if she genuinely forgot them, even though she kept the whole of her C storage open just for my stuff, or if she stole them from me.

The same thing happened to me but not as bad, I forgot to get my coconuts/bananas

well, once someone ordered the minimalist set and when they came over, I had forgotten to order the wall and floor. oops.
