Reset Trick (for pwps) help

Ive tried to do it so many times and none of my villagers ever ping me...

I dunno how the reset pwp trick works, but for a villager to ping you they need to have talked to you recently. Like they can't ping you if you talk to them and they say "You left the game for 6 weeks! Where were you?"

I don't know of any reset trick for getting PWP requests. Most people use the diving trick where you swim out to a corner of the ocean where no villagers can see you for 5 minutes and then come back and usually get a ping from a villager. Like the person above said, you have to be on speaking terms with villagers to get pings from them and you have to talk to them if you play for more than an hour to get the "you should take a break" dialogue out of the way.

Diving Trick is more preferable for me.
Use the Reset Trick for things such as Fish and Bugs.
