Reset Obsessed and going crazy!

So yesterday someone gave me Carmen, but it was so late at night I just wanted to go to bed and figured i'll deal with getting her in a good spot when I woke up.
Starting at 8am in the morning real time, to 11pm real time, i've reset over 100 times.

I have a specific spot I want her, and then I have 1 other "ok" spot that im willing to deal with, but she wont go in either.

I got her 3 spots away from perfect once, and just now I got her 1 spot away(see pic below), WHy cant it just be 1 spot back!!!!!!

Its just getting so frustrating... but im obsessed with having the perfect town that I just cant give up....

Also if you look at the bottom right, you can see one house lower than the 4 next to it, that Chrissy, I accidently changed time to 5:55 PM and not AM.... I was so angry. She's got to go.

I feel your pain xD. Mitzi moved out a few days ago to make room for Rudy. I've plot reset over 50 times in the last 3 days trying to get him to move in where Mitzi once was and still nothing! Good luck ><!

Ugh I've experienced your pain, I was plot resetting for Olivia from getting her from a campsite but she keeps on going onto my flowers! It's always 1 space front or back for me too. When it's a acceptable spot, I'm just like "screw it, I'm so done" I'm too OCD...

This was my biggest issue from when I attempted to reset my original town. I got everyone aligned in sync, but I certainly didn't get them where I wanted them to go; I just gave up.

And then I restored my original town, so it was all for nothing, lol.

I totally understand the frustration. However, in my new town, I'm trying not to reset so much... For me, it takes away from the game if I'm plot resetting for days on end. I think the most I've reset for a villager was 15-20 times, and it was for Bam. I usually just try to get them in a spot that isn't too horrible, and then work paths/PWPs/etc around them.
