reset my town

so I opened my game today and it wasn't working ;( I reset my town and chose a layout that I was -ok- with... it's definitely not what my other town was, I honestly don't have the energy to reset until I get a good map.

well if anyone has some tips on how to like really get my town going fast or would like to make some donations that would be very kind of you

I just need sum help, I didn't think I would end up being this upset over a game I feel kinda dum oh well ^L^

Of course it's not like your other town. It's a different town and probably it'll never be exactly how your old town(s) was/were. So maybe you have to accept that first and then you can go on first your actual town.
You just need to have a great concept for your town, house, characters and maybe even villagers and then you can start.

I don't know what you mean with donate, but a little tip: it's much more fun if you're doing your work on your own, you could be proud of what you're doing.

Plant a lot of fruit trees.
It's okay to be upset over it. Everything is so expensive and so much work and time in acnl. It's understandable been there myself.

It's happened to me three times or so, so I know how you feel.

Starting anew and trying to go fast, I suggest focusing mainly on what things you can do, and worry not on the things beyond your power. This includes:

-Placing path patterns to help control where you want your next villagers to move.
-Try getting all the mayor approval ratings, home loans payed off, etc, as quick as you can.
-Keep trying to get works project requests from villagers each day.

Either way, don't worry too much about having to make your town 'perfect' in under 2 weeks. Just play the game to relax and have fun!

I reset my 3 year town too and with patience i found a map with similar layout but better. In 2 Months i get a town not just i feel comfortable with, but with a better design than the other.

Points:
-It takes time thinking in what you can do with the new town.
-Believe me, tons of ideas can come in one day.
-It's fun because you're making something new.
-It can be frustrating the first days.

Advices:
-Get Fruit.
-Get Axes (tons of them).
-Try to place paths so you can made an idea of what kind of design you want.
-This is suggest to your own opinion but... Time Travel if you want a fast process but if you want a normal, just play day by day.
-Try to hybrid and you always can buy bushes or other gardening stuff from here.
-Buy always in the Stores, so you can get the others faster.
-Get the PWPs.

Anyway... Sorry for what happen to you, but who knows? This new town can be better than the other you have.

Ideas:

- If you're feeling uninspired maybe it's time to think about a new theme.

If you had a fairy tale town then go for zen.
An extra challenge try a modern theme.

Are there any dreamies you've never had? Getting to know someone new makes it fresh.

Btw - did you get the red screen saying data was corrupted?
Just curious - I hadn't heard of that since the update and was hopeful that was going to be rare.
