Currently sitting at nearly 60 entries! Thats incredible, I really didn't expect that many people to be interested in this!
So far what ive seen are:
Only roughly 10% of people have windflowers as a native, which is tied with pansies and roses as being the second least common native flower. The most common are mums with roughly 22% of people with them and the least common are tulips at roughly 5%.
HOWEVER, the most commonly found flower in nooks cranny are windflowers at a surprising 88%, and the least common being the rose at 18%
I only added the hemisphere question later on so not everyone has that option filled out, however, I can make a rough estimate as to what hemisphere people are playing in based on what continent they live in. Some rough hemisphere data:
OUT OF 20 RESPONSES 85% play Northern, 15% play Southern
I did get one person who plays in Europe say they play in the southern hemisphere, so these estimations definitely wont be SUPER accurate but it's a rough guess.
Looking at a lot of this data has led me to believe that anyone who plays in the Northern hemisphere is guaranteed to have a shop selling windflowers, at least during the spring season/ during april and march. However, there are a couple outliers, so im not 100% sure on this yet.
It's likely true since some have said apparently dataminers have proved this? However im not super sure what the southern hemisphere common flower could be since there arent any super common flowers.
I will give more set numbers soon once i can properly organise something! I am in no way a wiz at google forums or google sheets, however i know enough to get around and i will release everything properly soon!

My birthday is also June 26th and I got lilies. I think it does has to do something with star signs? This is pretty interesting and im curious to find out!
I've been time tra veling a lot and while i used to get hyacinths, i dont anymore, and now that im in fall, i do have mums? so possibly month may be related to it! Another question to consider is what flowers you see on islands! I'm lily mainly, but the flowers i see on islands are either lily or windflowers, not really any other kinds (like how i have my main fruit, orange, and secondary that shows up in that one island, apples)
edit: ALSO i restarted a new island and got new native/secondary flowers, so i believe its not entirely based on birth month at least

What ive concluded is one flower being sold is definitely based on the month! Also just a general update for everyone: before i went to bed i had about 60 responses that's now bumped up to 80 lol so im definitely gonna wait a little while longer to get to messing with the data!

Quick excuse to BUMP so that i can get more entries in the poll as well as a small update. Will be releasing a google docs with all the data in sometime this week if im able to do it all that fast, but im also only going to gather everything together properly once no more entries are coming in. Once everythings slowed down as much as possible ill close the poll!
