Requests of Villagers

Does anyone else's Villagers ever ask for anything beyond Stink Bugs, Bag Worms, and Long Locusts? lol! Stink Bugs are soooo popular with mine and idk why anyone would want one just to have it lol.
Any odd/funny requests from your villagers?

I've only gotten one request so far and it was for a wharf roach

I get asked for wharf roaches a lot which is very annoying, so i kept a few in my storage but now my villagers never ever ask for them. I am getting lots of stink bugs requests lately, too!

I’ll fully admit that I didn’t fulfill a single one of them. Like I’m sorry, but no honey. I’ll give you some fruit to make up for it, but there’s no way in hell I’m letting you exhibit that in your house.

I always get requests for wharf roaches!! And then of course THAT's the moment they all decide to never spawn again haha

They only ask me for bugs... its pretty shallow and infrequent requests. Well, maybe twice "can you take this to so in so. They are mad at me and i want to say sorry."
I miss the old asking them "hey, do you need anything done?"without them having to ping you or have the thought bubble to get.

Mine request Wharf Roaches so much that I've decided to catch them everytime I run into them and keep them in storage until a villager requests them because hunting for them can be a pain.

I haven't had a lot of villagers request insects besides once asking for a long locust (that all apparently disappeared) and a stinkbug, but I've gotten a couple asking for loaches

Yes, and its always when I want to close my game. The requests I have received are freshwater fish (any), sting bug, man-faced stink bug, ocean fish (any), wharf roach, crucian carp, and dace. I have also been tasked with running around delivering packages to other villagers as well as bringing medicine to sick villagers.

mine have requested butterfly fish, olive flounder, etc. and they ALWAYS seem to stop showing up the second i get the request lol i have used so much bait !!

Really? I’ll try to look around for some confirmation first, and then maybe change my approach in that case. It did always feel bad having to say no ;ェ;

I don’t understand you people.

I would be so happy to receive any request from my villagers. I have literally got none.

The only ones I have gotten are where you return a lost item (a few times) and to play treasure hunt, which I consider more of a game than a request.

This is the one thing that I miss from New Leaf, besides the dream suite, and I can’t believe how bad they butchered the most important aspect of villagers in a game about crossing animals...

I haven't gotten many requests but mine like to ask for squid and today Purrl asked for a horse makerel

I've received a few requests for fish, but mostly bugs. I've declined them all because it would be my luck I'd have that one villager who wants to recreate the museum in their house!
