So, I got Ankha from a trader, and she's wearing a boob window dress (which is iconic of her), but like, I'm not a huge fan of it. I asked Isabelle to talk to her about her outfit. Does it remove that outfit from her options or do I have to spam her with outfit gifts?

I’m pretty sure reporting her to Isabelle reverts her to her default outfit and also takes it out of her rotation of outfits
Not it doesn't, I had a villager from a while back that I got from a trader and the villager has a bad outfit on and I reported it to Isabelle but the villager reverted back to that outfit, not sure why this happens but the only way I guess is too boot them

Oh, that kind of defeats the purpose then I guess. I thought the whole point of the feature was to remove custom designed clothes that could potentially be inappropriate
Yea its really annoying which is why you should always ask if a villager is 100% original

You should be able to gift her a few outfits and it'll eventually remove that one from her rotation--I did this with Marina when I delivered a gift from Lily to her and it was this hideous muscle suit she started wearing. Once I had gifted her 3 or 4 other outfits, she only rotated between them and her default from then on. I'd assume (and hope) it works the same for custom designs.

Reporting to Isabelle def does not work. It works for that moment only and they always keep reverting back to their weird clothes they received as gifts. I don't understand what the whole point of reporting to Isabelle is if it's not even gonna work.
