I thought about buying a DS Lite again since I sold mine, but I'm too lazy. I really want to rebuy Emerald and some Fire Emblem games for the GBA. I also want to replay SoulSilver and Platnium, but it doesn't feel right playing on a 3DS XL screen lol.
Quite often, actually. Some of the games I'm replaying now are Pokemon FireRed, TLoZ: TP, TLoZ: MM and Dragon Quest IX (even if I didn't get very far in my last save).
I love replaying older games , I kept all my old consoles. I have many GBA games and still often play Pokemon Ruby and Zelda link to the past/four swords.
I keep playing old games on my GBA SP. It's gotten to the point where the GB and GBC games want to freeze and glitch and scare me a bit because I guess there's dust and dirt in them. LOZ: Oracle of Seasons and Kirby's Dream Land seem to want to scare me more than the others. (Kirby, I only wanted to play music on the sound test. I didn't ask for you to play the wrong notes and then freeze. I didn't ask for Oracle of Seasons to randomly bring up a text box saying "The hour has come!" either. XD)
I'm replaying games like...Everyday.
Like the 3rd/4th generation Pokemon games, Rune Factory 2, LoZ: Oracle of Seasons, GBA Mario Games~ There are lots more...
In the last week, I finally finished Pokemon XD, restarted Pokemon Colosseum, & Pokemon Sapphire...all in anticipation of the 3rd gen remakes coming in November. I'm slowly remembering why I hated Colosseum so much, purifying Shadow Pokemon is SUCH a pain in this game.
I always replay old games, there are some that I've probably replayed 5-6 times but I don't get tired of. Especially games that you can play differently from the first time when you replay them.
I replay some games when I get in the mood. Like The World Ends With You I tend to go back to ever two years, Kingdom Hearts 2 I replayed often when I was younger, and some of the Legend of Zelda games too.
love to replay majoras mask pokemon emerald and i never actually finished pearl, im planning to do that. cant wait for omea ruby and alpha sapphire with its shiny beldum and cosplay pikachus... if only there wasn't only the 1 beldum from steven in emerald if memory is working...
I recently started re-playing Link's Awakening for the first time in years after I found my Gameboy Color. 1999 was the first time I played that game and it's amazing how much better I was at it all those years ago; back then, I solved things on my own, now, if I'm stuck, all I have to do is look online for hints
It's been a long, long time since I've avidly been into my Gameboys and DS, but now that I'm back into them I think I'll probably start afresh on the majority of my old games. Not sure if I can actually bring myself to start again with Pok?mon Red and save over my original game, though. Too nostalgic~
If I replay a DS game, I'll just play it on my 3DS.
But yes, I do replay old games every so often. I recently beat Wind Waker HD on my Wii U. Haven't played that since the Gamecube.
