Weavile is a fine pokemon imo, but ice and (off topic) rock type are unfortunately weak to a lot of priority moves. Weavile x4 weakness to mach punch for example.

Just making small talk. Not saying not to use either type. I for one like cryogonal, avalugg, and gigalith for example despite said weakness.

Weavile makes up for it w/ speed, a good moveset, and attack power. It was basically made to die quickly though. Even Smogon has gives it a Life Orb because they know Weavile usually dies from one-hit KO. However, Aegislash is no match w/ it I believe.

Ice types are good if you're going against a Dragon user. Those guys are usually Ice x4. Garchomp and Noivern for example.
