Regarding the Red Horned Hat

Hello! I am wondering, has the red-horned hat been released yet? I noticed that it's no longer in the list of things not released yet Jennifer made. Just curious~

I had it catalogued and figured it was released. I didn't even know there was such a thing as unauthorized items. :x omg.

There's this thing called "Powersave" or something that allowed players to obtain high amounts of bells and unreleased items in New Leaf. People took advantage of that and started selling off things like the rest of the zodiac set (months before they were set to release) and the kimbap plate. The red horned hat was part of that for a bit, but it had now been officially released so it's okay to have it now. Websites (like this one) have been emphazising to not sell these items since they were gained through bad means. That's why I say "unauthorized", though it sounds extreme haha.
