I found 2 really pretty paths for my town. One is a cream path that looks elegant and the other is a grey brick one.
I started laying down the grey one and then I found the cream. So I was wondering if I should have my town really fancy with roses and bushes everywhere and my house with the white exterior or my town can be campy and in the woods with cedar trees everywhere and a cabin home. Which should I choose?

Both sound awesome, maybe you should ask for dream addresses with those themes and check them out yourself! I don't have one though, sorry.

I think I know the cream path you're talking about, is it this one? cream path.jpg
I was actually thinking about using something like this in my town, but I decided to use a orange/brown brick pattern that matches the brick bridge. I'd think about something that looks good in every season, unless you want to find different coloured variants and swap them in and out fairly often c:
Personally, I would go with a two tile wide main path, and then maybe a one tile wide path that could go through little wooded areas, maybe to a cabin in the woods? There's no reason why you can't combine both ideas.

I think you should do Regal because that fits you best (you already have the house for it) And "woodsy" is my theme. Well my theme is brown. Just dont look like my town! Heyo. Jk

I would use the cream one. I have a similar white one that I made in my town. :)

If you're already working on a regal-themed house, then I would choose the cream path. However, I love the sound of the woodsy one, so if you haven't planned much then you could go with that.

Even so, I like Alette's idea of combining paths. :)

If you're having trouble picking between the two, you could maybe do both?
Especially if your map is split so that the reiver makes a little cul-de-sac, that could be a perfect spot for a little wooded area!

Oop I didn't even see that this had already been suggested. :p

Maybe use an alt, and have the area around the alt's house be more woodsy, while your main's general area is more structured and regal.
