Redd has only come once. What gives?

Yes saw someone mention he is meant to appear less often. I’ve only had him twice. So while my fossils are pretty much complete, my art is lacking.

hhng yeah he appears to visit very infrequently compared to the other npcs. i only saw him twice the week he was added and he hasn’t shown up again ;w;

Will Isabelle say anything in her announcements if Redd is visiting or do you just have to check everyday?

and no, she won't after his first visit, but you can always see his ship on the map when he's in town

I only have 3 pieces of art donated to the museum so far: the initial one to open up the art wing, the second from when Redd visited my island again (only happened once so far), and the third was gifted to me by one of my villagers.

I agree that his spawn rate needs to be more frequent, it'll take literal years for non TT players to complete their collection otherwise.

I completed my entire art exhibit by time traveling one day back and forth. The day of his visit is fixed, but his inventory isn't, so you can buy art, travel to the next day, donate the art, travel back to the previous day, buy more art, etc., ect....

His visits to my island are actually reasonably often but as many have said it is completely random! If you need artwork I'd suggest asking to visit others islands who have him. I tend to get leif the most often for some reason, it's just different for everyone

Yeah, he came to my island like twice (including his initial visit)...My art museum is basically an empty exhibit. :/
