Redd Glitch?

Whats the deal w the Redd Not Showing Glitch? Hope i dont have it but has anyone here gotten it and can it be fixed?

somebody created a thread a few days ago about this - they fixed it by purchasing a genuine piece of art from somebody else’s island, donating it to blathers and unlocking the museum expansion, and after that redd began showing up for them

also, upon seeing your other thread - if you haven’t donated 60 things to the museum yet, you won’t be able to unlock redd or the expansion until you have
