Red line in critterpedia?

Where it shows the active time of the insect/fish, there's sometimes a red line. Is this when they're most common? Or is that when you caught it? I don't know what it means lol.

LOL omg! That makes so much sense XD I keep checking my critter-edina every time I catch something new and the highlighted time would always be the same so I figured it was indicating the time I caught it. I feel silly LOL Thank you!
