Recommend some good ds/3ds games for me? (Also looking for some opinions on some)

So I'm kind of sick of some of my 3ds/ds games again so I'm selling some and buying new ones. (I prefer 3ds and ds since they're portable) I was wondering if anyone who's played any of these games could give me an opinion:

- Pokemon X (Okay, so I know this is pretty popular at the moment, but it's one I plan on buying so I'm including it anyway)
- Magician's Quest: Mysterious Times (I hear it's similar to AC hehe)
- Harvest moon: A tale of two towns
- Harvest moon: A new beginning

I guess you could say I have a girly ish taste for games, which some people may or may not like about me I'm always happy to try new types though.
Also, I'm not so keen on puzzle games if I'm honest ~ I hear Professor Layton is good (I like the style too hehe) but I don't know since it's puzzle.

NOTE: I own an EU 3ds and a JPN 3ds, so please only suggest ones that will work with my region console (yeah I made that mistake once without realizing something was NA region ehe).

Edit: You can even recommend some GBA game if you want (I still have one teehee ;D)

I played the start of pokemon X and it looked & was awesome! I think its definitely worth buying. I couldn't finish the rest since my brother took it off me so I have to buy another copy :l But I don't really mind, because, I think its an awesome game!

Big NO for Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns, it seems fun at first, but honestly it's so boring after second year. But if you've played and liked Grand Bazaar I guess you might like this one too.

I can recommend Okamiden, if you haven't tried it yet.

Yeah I heard a couple of bad things about tale of two towns... I liked Grand Bazaar though (did you mean ToT or a new beginning when you said that? )

No, I meant- if you liked GB you might like Tale of Two Towns as well. I know some people who've enjoyed ToTT, so I decided to play it as well, but in the end I didn't like it... The same happened with Grand Bazaar, so I thought if you actually enjoyed GB you might enjoy ToTT.

I got harvest moon: A new beginning a few days ago, and I'm really confused. o.e I have no idea what to other than scare birds and collect rocks. xD I've never phased any of the other harvest moon games though, so I guess I should just try and get into it. x3

but anyway i like bravely default if you like jrpgs. its pretty fun. but the voice acting for one of the characters is terrible and it makes me cry. theres a demo on the eshop to try out

rune factory 4 is also like harvest moon except with dungeons and fighting so yeah if you want some action and farming then get rf4.

I saw an English version though >_> If I'm wrong, then I'd buy it to practice my Japanese (like my JPN ACNL) but I'd rather read it in my own language. It gives a break from translating ect.

you sure? ive looked around and ive only found the japanese copy and i cant find footage of people playing it in english so yeah
i remember there was a petition here to release it out of japan though

eh? thats the ds version. i meant that theres only a japanese copy for the 3ds version. sorry

OH my bad x3 I don't think that one will work on my 3ds anyway (American region) ~ Darn region lock thingy for 3ds... Didn't know there was one for 3ds though anyway.

As you know I got Harvest Moon: ANB today (well I guess you do cos you commented on my thread hehe) and I've been playing through it and I really enjoy it! You said you like girlish games, well it's so cute, and if I remember correctly you said you played the other Harvest Moons? So I think you should get it. It's like ?16 from GAME which is nothing at all for a brand new game :3

Welllllll it depends on your opinions on the type of games you like. If you like games with a really good main story and interesting gameplay i would recommend:
The world ends with you-DS
STORY OVERVIEWWWW
neku is just a regular student. Just another anit-social student who can never be seen without his headphones blaring music into his ears. And this day is just like any other.... right? Until he realizes he has no memories, and absolutely no idea where he is. He almost instantly meets a girl named Shiki who wants to "team up" with him... Not only that, but it may just be his imagination, but is that a clock on his hand?!

What if you were to wake up one day into an "organization". They'll give you a new name, new clothes, and even take care of you. All they ask in return is for you to do "missions" for them. They claim your a "nobody," so you all have to band together. This is the predicament Roxas finds himself in after having no memories of his previous life. He makes friends with Axel and Xion, the mysterious 14th member that is shrouded in mystery. Roxas begins to wonder the mystery behind his existence, and what is the true secret behind this "organization.."

Side note: this is a side story of the game series, kingdom hearts. But this was my first entry in the series, so i think you can still understand the story if you haven't played the previous.

HOWEVER
if you don't care much for story and want more pure gameplay games i would suggest

THE LEGEND OF ZELDA, OCARINA OF TIME -3 ds
Do i even need to put anything here XD? Although i have never played this on the 3ds, i have played the original many times with my brother on the wii （＾∇＾） it has an still interesting story, but by far the strongest part of it is the gameplay and style.

Im sure there are many other games out there but i am tired and too lazy to write another overview XD

Aww that sucks I got mine for ?23 from Amazon haha oh well, it's only ?7 difference (Yes Zo ~ Optimism all the way!!) no matter how careful you are, there's always a better price that you miss I guess.

I've played Zelda before and loved it<3 haven't played the new one yet though so I hope to give it a shot I also saw 'The world ends with you' before and wanted to buy it (until I saw the price on amazon... Eeeek). Thanks for your detailed suggestions *o*
