I recently got a wii U (yay!) what games are you guys playing? I already have Mario Kart 8

I'd recommend smash and hyrule warriors if you like mario kart, they're both really fast paced, fun and you get a lot of play time out of them.
Captain Toad and Wind Waker HD look fun even though I don't have either of them yet.
Mario 3d world is easy but it's pretty fun! It's good for when you want to just be lazy and play something that isn't that challenging.

i'd suggest things like hyrule warriors but other people ill suggest that, so i'll suggest something else not many people will say but monster hunter 3 ultimate is really good.
I got like 400+ hours of gameplay out of it, and probably would've gotten more if it wasn't for 4U releasing soon. It's a really good game if your into RPG and **** but you should check it out regardless. There's a demo so see if that takes your fancy

Wind Waker is a great game. I wear a nice big pair of nostalgia glasses when I play it though. It's easily my favorite Zelda game.
Hyrule Warriors is fun but it depends what you're into. It's repetitive and mostly pretty easy so I can't play it for long periods of time, but its still great fun.
Super Mario Bros U is great and it's pretty cheap these days (I got it not too long ago brand new for just ?10). It's relatively easy, though some of the later levels can get tricky (especially if you're trying to get all the collectibles). Definitely worth the current price though.
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is also an awesome game. I have the 3DS version (didn't have a WiiU at the time) but I know they're almost the exact same game (except 3DS didn't have online play).
I recommend downloading the demo for it first as it can be a very difficult game at times and is definitely not everybody's 'cup of tea'. It's really a great game though (good enough that I plan to buy it again on WiiU).

My siblings and I had a lot of fun with Super Mario 3D World. And I'm not sure how old you are, or if you're into horror, but I really enjoyed ZombiU and Resident Evil: Revelations. They both made really good use of the GamePad, imo.
