Receiving Villagers From Others

I recently received Muffy from a friend, but realized I wanted Deirdre instead. Is their any way that i could ask another villager and cancel out Muffy's move in?

It depends. Has Muffy officially moved in or placed her plot? If so, then it's too late to reverse it and Muffy will move in.

No, she I just asked her, but I don't know if it is too late, she isnt plotted and id need time to find someone with deirdre moving

If you ask another villager on the same day, they'll cancel out Muffy.

Pretty much this. So you still have that option open.

As long as you can find a Deirdre by the end of the day and ask her to move in, she should cancel out Muffy's move in.
