Tangy was camping in my town and I talked to her for a bit. Literally the SECOND thing she said (excluding the whole "hi, I'm camping here" thing) was that she wanted to move in and she did. Have you ever had it happen so fast?

Yes, with Gayle. I said yeah to her suggestion to move in, just for no reason, confident that she'd reject like every other camper does, but she said yes right away and I had to quit without saving. lmao

A few times, actually. Whitney was the only one that took a long time to convince to move in.

Yes, and I wondered if I was wearing a lucky item or something. But I didn't go check with Katrina.

Yes, when I had Lolly in my town (I still miss her ;_; ) she came in through my campsite, and it only took talking to her twice to get her to move in.

Nope, never been that lucky because the game hates me. Had to give up a fountain firework once (limited time item :p) and...yeah I think that was my only camper that moved in lol.

OMG...I never had that sort of luck! The longest it took me to get a villager to move in was over 4 hours. It was a nightmare. Usually it takes me less than half an hour. I think I'd faint from shock if a villager ever agrees to move in right away.

Yeah, it can be really frustrating so you got really lucky! For anyone reading, the key to get that ping to move in is just say no to all other games. It goes pretty fast if you stick that rule (learned that one from reading this forum, ha, ha)

yup. it happened for a while, then i think diana was the most annoying. she must have really been not into my town haha ruuude.

Whenever my daughter meets a camper in her town, the camper basically falls over themselves to move in within the first ten seconds, it's amazing. In my town, it takes like an hour, with a lot of cussing!!

Yes with Midge. Actually it was my sister, but she was playing as my mayor character. She wanted to see who was camping and since I had a spot open, I told her to fill the pocket with seashells and have a few in the letters so when she lost at the games, she didn't have to leave the tent to fill the pocket up again. I did warn her that it might take quite awhile before they would agree to move in. Second thing out of Midge's mouth was moving in, my sister told her she should and Midge agreed. What the heck. I've talked to campers for 20-30 minutes before they finally agreed to move in.

I've had both things. Sometimes I'd have to talk to a villager almost 20 times before they'd finally move in. Other times, they'd say they want to move after the third time or so with no fuss about playing a game or anything

As a cycler, every 'tier 1' villager who showed up at the campsite was difficult about moving in, and when they finally agreed on the condition of me winning a challenge, they would always bet for something I actually want to keep.

Then I would get the less popular villagers agreeing right away, heh.

None of mine were super hard to get to move. I would not have enough patience to sit there for hours with it though, lol. I have on the other hand, had trouble getting certain villagers to move OUT. But that's another story!

Woo, congrats! Just got Tangy moved into Deep 13, m'self.

Merengue's the most recent campsite visitor, and yow, did it take forever to get her to mention wanting to move in. (Maybe it's 'cause I already have 3 Normal-type gals? Dunno.)
