What's the highest price one of your villagers has paid for an item you put on sale in Re-tail?

I don't use re-tail that often. When I first started playing and was desperate for cash that's the only time I sold items to villagers through re-tail. I think the highest price I've sold something was for 5,000 bells.

I've sold ore for 9,999 to my villagers lol :3 but i don't really do it anymore since i'm lazy and have enough bells as it is

They will pay 7,999 for the superb coffee beans


7,999 for superb coffee beans
7,999 for the ores
9,999 for the silver/gold ore
... I only do those items since they won't put those in their homes or try to sell/give them to me again in the future.


EDIT :: Also, lucky item placement in your home and friendship lvl with a villager is said to increase the chances of them "over paying" for an item in retail.

I sell superb coffee beans at 7,500 bells a piece, in the front four Flea Market spaces for the same reason as FallenChaosKitten.
