Re-tail Problem?

I have two players in my town, my main player (myself) and a second player I made whose house has a bakery, cafe, ice cream parlour and spa... etc. My bakery player put an item in retail worth 598,000 bells so my main player could buy it and the funds would go into Bakery's bank account to help with renovation and expansion of her house. HOWEVER, after my main player paid all that money, I went into Bakery's file and the money was not in her account, and Reese didn't mention anything about the transaction. My main player doesn't have the 598,000 bells either, so it must have been paid. Is this a glitch or something? Because I'm worried I lost 598,000 bells for nothing...

Has this happened to you before?

Yeah it comes in the next day, I'm pretty sure! I was worried when I did an exchange with bells using re-tail since it didn't go in when I checked but reese told me the bells came in the abd the next day!

it takes a day for the money to actually transfer, i didn't know that either the first time and freaked out thinking i lost all the money lol

Don't worry. It will be in the account tomorrow and Reese will say something about it the day after the item was sold. Lots of people have had this same question and it always shows up the next day.
