I've been collecting many rare items lately, and the question came up: what is the RAREST item in New Leaf? Is it a DLC item in Japan? An item from in game? What is it? Tell me below!

Probably the ABD you get from saving up a hundred million bells...
but honestly I think duping has probably lessened the rarity of any items in the game.

Yeah, you could easily get dozens of any item by duping. No items are rare anymore, really.

I think there has to be at least some of the item in circulation to call it rare first. Since no one has it yet, I'm not sure unreleased items really should count lol.

If unreleased items don't count, it might be the Korea-exclusive items? I see them the least.

Hmm...then I'd probably still say ABD. I've been saving up since I got the game and not really close by far yet. I have the 7-11 ABD as well. Sloppy items would also probably be pretty rare since they take awhile to naturally find in your retail/police station.

I can get an ABD in about an hour if if drop all my money and deposit it on an alternate character. I have 5 right now.

It's an unorderable set. Unless someone sells it to you, there's no way you can get it. You can't order it from anything.

I don't feel like any regional DLC/event items are hard to get honestly...
I'd say the zodiac animals from 2020 and on but if we're counting TTing then they're pretty easy to obtain as well.
