Apollo asked to come over to my house, which I let him. After giving him the grand tour, he leaves.

Then I go to do my daily dive and end up going back inside my house, and APOLLO BARGES IN FOR A SECOND VISIT!

I'd love it if decorating outside in-game was as easy as it is in Happy Home Paradise. (Of course it would also help if I had a catalog that extensive--working on it, just not there yet.)

I'm thinking about starting my own island journal. At first I only wanted to share the progress of my island, especially the areas I'm really happy with, but it might be nice to have some kind of record of my island as a whole to get back in the future. I'm not sure. It sounds cool but with my tendency to quickly drop projects I doubt I would finish it buuut maybe I'll try anyway.

I will never understand why they decided this was the only holiday that needed an entire week when all the others had just one day. Is it a byproduct of the barebone launch that they never changed in later years? Or was it always meant to be that way? It was so annoying needing to collect resources during launch only to get eggs all the time lol.

You should go for doing the journal if you think you'll enjoy it! Who knows, maybe you'll decide it's not your cup of tea or maybe you'll really like it. I took the leap and am journaling/blogging my garden this year with a spin on a Stardew Valley theme. It's still too early to tell, but I'm really enjoying it. So give it a shot you might have fun

Egg hunting was way better back in New Leaf than it was in New Horizons. I also liked how one of the eggs requires diving to obtain. The one problem with New Leaf’s version is that the “grand prize” tickets are too common, and the prize really isn’t grand at all. I even considered this to be one of ACNL’s biggest flaws, both for the game as a whole and holidays (the only seasonal feature that was more frustrating was how snowboys were extremely demanding of perfect looks).

Bunny week is best, IMO, experienced once then skipped ever after. I'm playing it again because I restarted, otherwise I may have just done a day or two to remind myself why, then TT ahead.

I would love to have my own island journal but right now the hardest step is to start one with a nice introduction post, with images and everything But thanks for the encouragement! It might actually help a little!

Yeah, I agree. I really enjoyed the first Bunny Day week, and mayyybe the second one too. But with each passing year the eggs being everywhere is just a massive inconvenience.

I just had my first experience with the eggs yesterday. It's way too much work
