Random question: do you still use your ladder?

reluctantly, yes, i do. but it seems so often frustrating tbh, much less exciting than at the beginning of the game.

There's this one spot in my island that I won't be able to reach without a ladder and that's kind of like a secret area on top to rest and chill. Well, not really secret if you already seen the view from below.

I made 70% of my island a higher elevation, so I still use it regularly.

I rarely do these days. I carry it around with me all the time, but I pretty much never use it on my own island, and only use it sometimes on other people's islands. The only place it gets real use is the Nook Miles islands, but even then I rarely go to them these days.

I carry one all the time, and use it if I want a shortcut instead of using the incline (probably the time I try to chase dragonflies). I also use it on mystery island, though nowadays the ladder just sits inside my pocket and I feel weird if it is not there.

No, I put all my inclines where I need them to be so I rarely use my ladder, I use them on NMT islands but that is pretty much it.

Not anymore. I carried a ladder and pole vault for the longest time "just in case" but then one day I was short on inventory space. I left them in storage and never looked back. They can help situationally, but I find it's more enjoyable to use my intended paths and stairways. Before I would get lazy and just skip past all the places I've worked so hard to decorate

For quite a while, my island was designed so that you never needed a ladder. I've since made some big changes and diversified the terrain quite a bit, and my ladderless days are behind me...

Nope. I keep this in mind when I terraform too. I dont like my ladder taking up a space, my umbrella lives there now lol.
I'm just lazy. And I hate having to stop, get it out, press a, get up, put it away. Like nah I want to roam and run free!
Unfortunately this leads to me forgetting it and my pole vault when I impromptu island hop.

I don't use it on my island but I do bring it to other islands, just in case

I really wish ladders and vaulting poles were customizable!
