I use it often! there’s lots of areas that aren’t finished yet, & I’m not going to waste a ramp on my campsite since I rarely visit it- it’s up on a little cliff in the corner lol.
and sometimes I just don’t want to run all the way around to the closest ramp.
On my island? No, not now that I have everything accessible via ramps. I always keep one in my inventory just in case though.
Definitely came in handy at least once when I was picking up a villager from someone and their island was pretty new and they had put the villager up on the cliff without a ramp yet haha.
I will use it on occasion - typically to quickly get to a bug or fish I want to catch, but also to reach fossils that spawn in awkward areas. I do wish you could pole vault across gaps on the second level of solid ground.
Yes, though usually I only need it every 3 days. What I mean is, I plant all of my golden roses on a tier 3 cliff (without an incline, because I said so), and idk it’s in the back so I always hope it goes unnoticed by most people. It’s usually the first thing I do, though, so I don’t have to worry about random people climbing up there with their ladder and plucking my goldies.

Yup! I use the ladders and vaulting pole still xD. I haven’t built that many bridges and inclines on my island, and when I do, I usually use the short cut! I also keep changing the position of my bridges and inclines since I can’t decide where to permanantly put them!
Yes, I'm still terraforming my island. I take it with me to other islands because idk how develop they are. I was dropping off some flowers and the buyer was nice to offer me redd for free. If I didn't have the ladder, I wouldn't have been able to go to him.
yahhh i’ve got a few spots that can’t be accessed without it still (namely my hybrid prison lol). eventually i’d like everything to be set up so i don’t need it, but it’s not a big deal. i think i look cute carrying it around lol.
I do. I purposefully have a 3rd level cliff area next to my house with no ramp. It keeps the area 100% villager free. CJ spawned there once, but otherwise it’s a nice private refuge. I also use the ladder for shortcuts on the north side of my island that’s more remote and has fewer ramps.
I do, but I usually use my inclines. I keep it in case I need to reach something that would usually be inaccessible, like a fossil/lily of the valley on a cliff.
