Raining cherry blossoms?

So my trees are pink right now obviously with the game being in the first ten days of April, but I haven’t had a single day yet where the cherry blossoms are raining like usual? I just time traveled to the 6th as well (for shopping purposes) and they weren’t raining there either meaning the first 6 days in April in my town don’t have any petals raining. With only 4 days left will they rain at all? Is it possible to not have a single day where they’re raining?

The petals only fall on the last few days. I can't remember exactly but I'm pretty sure it's only the 7th-10th of April.
