This is a small thing, but I've noticed that rainbows, when they appear, are hard to see. The rainbows in New Leaf were very clear, but in New Horizons they're too faint. I guess they were going for a more realistic approach but I'd rather get more colorful rainbows. Here are two pictures for comparison (not my own.)

I agree I'd rather have more colorful rainbows and I also adore the way the water looks and moved in new leaf a lot more than the way it looks now in new horizons personally! although I do think the waterfalls in new horizons look nice... I enjoy a more cartoony and or vibrant than realistic take in general I think it's more enjoyable and cute

hhng yeah it’s pretty disappointing - i’m not too sure why nintendo’s taking a more realistic approach considering the whole franchise is about talking animals LMAO

I didn't even know there was a double rainbow until one of my villagers mentioned it.
I even put on reading glasses I never wear to try and see it.

It was barely there.

I'm so glad it's not just me! I thought that maybe I caught it on a tail end and it had just faded more. It would be cool if it was brighter to begin with and then faded more into the picture you see above. Would make it much easier to spot!

I think they’re duller to be more realistic? I don’t have anything from past games to compare them with, but they do seem accurate to real life. Just like talking animal neighbors

Wait so they're supposed to look that dim? I thought maybe I noticed it too late

Edit: It's strange because auroras are very bright, I wonder if maybe Nintendo made a mistake

yeah, you can hardly see them. if i take a pic, i’d apply filters to make them more noticeable. i guess they are going for the realistic look but it’ll be hard to spot them sometimes.
