rain clothes or umbrella?

when it rains, i usually wear my rain gear (boots, coat, hat) because i find it kind of annoying to carry around the umbrella.

I definitely prefer rain clothes as well. I like holding an umbrella for aesthetic reasons sometimes but as a whole it’s more cumbersome than it’s worth. I have a little rain outfit all ready to go in my wand for when it rains - although I’ve altered it a little bit now so it’s more of a snowfall outfit!

I don’t always alter my looks for rain, but when I do, I prefer an umbrella (especially the leaf and maple leaf umbrellas, since they look like the only things my rep would have access to to shield himself from the rain).

I have my rain gear set as one if my wand outfits. And I'll put it on if the rain is really coming down. Otherwise, if it's just a drizzle I'll use the umbrella.

I hardly ever use either but on my southern hemisphere island, we've had some heavy rains recently (not quite monsoon but heavy) so I felt silly running around without any rain gear. It's cute when villagers comment about you dripping all over their floors. They probably say that whether you're wearing or carrying rain gear, or not, though.

I prefer rain clothes! Even when I like many umbrellas, it's not practical for me when I want to change tools. But if the rain it's not that heavy, I'll add a cap to my outfit

umbrella all the way! i like to match it to the day's outfit just in case it rains. although in summer when it rained more i did wear a whole outfit occasionally.

no to all, though I do wish you could set an "always on umbrella for when it rains

basically such that, as long as you aren't holding another tool, it forces the umbrella out during rain (maybe could set to apply for sunny weather too?)

I honestly just wear whatever I want for the day and I rarely wear specific rainy day outfits. I usually do coordinate for whether it’s hot or cold weather though.

i keep buying umbrellas and i have no idea what to do with them all! they make the cutest umbrellas in this game and i never remember to use them when it's raining. i think some of my favourite ones are the more darker-themed, like the gothic lace one, and the bat umbrella. but they're seriously all adorable, like the panda or ladybug one.

i don't usually change into rain gear when it's raining, though - i definitely should think about adding a rain outfit

usually I put on rain clothes, both because I have coolers or something closer to hand than I do my house most of the time, and also because if I'm doing tasks like fishing then I can't really hold an umbrella. I prefer the aesthetic of holding an umbrella though!
