TLDR: I ragequit because I accidentally dug up a bush. Also, I was curious to see how many tbt bells you get for writing longer posts.

Well more like closed the game without saving. But when you think about it that?s really Animal Crossing?s version of a ragequit:p.

I was roaming around town doing usual Animal Crossing things. I checked the mail, put the sketchbook I got from Katie on display, reorganized my closet a bit, walked around and talked to Ankha and Genji, moved some flowers around, bought a pink-hydrangea start from the T&T Emporium and planted near Pekoe?s house, dug up some gyroids, sold the gyroids and some miscellaneous items at Re-tail, left Re-tail and saw a bamboo shoot growing in a bad spot, equipped my shovel and dug up a white azalea bush by accident due to bad aim.

Looking at the hole where that azalea bush used to be I started thinking about how difficult it was to get that particular bush to grow (it?s in the middle of a bamboo grove) due to New Leaf?s arcane planting rules. The idea of digging up and replanting all that bamboo was too much to take and I quit out of the game:mad:.

Animal Crossing is the only game I?ve ever played, and will probably be the only game I ever will play, where the save and reload function gets abused over a bush. And somehow it really pleases me that this is a game that could get me that attached to the placement of a single bush:p.

Anybody else have a story about ?ragequitting? in New Leaf over what in any other game would be a trivial event?

I 'ragequit' over a random move in. I was all ready for my dreamie to come, and then....

ROCKET.

Well, I've had my fair share of frustration in City Folk/Let's Go to the City, but I wouldn't say I've played New Leaf long enough to have experienced anything particularly frustrating.

One time I accidentally talked to a villager I was supposed to ignore and idk why but I was hecka mad, and now I can't run using the R button thing

I ragequit when Olaf moved in. I've been using the reset trick so I don't have to worry about anyone messing up anything, but when I tried that day the only person showing up was Olaf, so once I realized what was going on I just turned off the game. I've also reset a few times after accidentally destroying hybrids.

Ragequit and reset a town with Rosie in it because I'd just started plot resetting, and hecked up real bad and got Chadder.

I think it took me at least 50 more resets to see Rosie again.
And then at least 100 plot resets to get Julian.

Honestly, with all the resetting I've done I've wanted to ragequit a lot, but when I ****ed up with plot resetting I was REALLY upset.

Let's hope I don't get a fourth copy, folks. I fear for my sanity to be honest.

I felt like quitting almost when I got Mitzi from my brothers town to move in (I wanted her at the time) and of course, guess what happens? I have 10 villagers in my town and guess who's decides to camp in my town? Olivia, I talked to her for like 20 mins and it made me really mad/sad at the game XD But thankfully I got Olivia from someone on here <3

I didn't feel rage, but I did quit without saving over a bush not long ago. I was going for a fossil and got the bush instead. They were alternating blue/pink hydrangeas and I couldn't remember the pattern, so I just quit.

The other day I was so angry because one of my villagers gave me a petition to get signatures for from another person's town. I got all the signatures before the end of the day, which was like about 11:00 p.m. central time, and most of my villagers were still awake. However, this villager decided to go to sleep early. So the next day, I talked with him and he said that petition was no longer needed and I could just throw it away. I had to pay money at re-tail to get rid of a paper scrap.
