RAFFLESIA OF DOOM!- and a solution

To my understanding, it's the Jacob's Ladder for the opposite end of the spectrum.
They creep me out. I think if I turned on my town and saw one, I'd cry.

Wait can you get a Rafflesia from just dropping furniture on the ground? I would love to have a rafflesia! But I don't want to get rid of my Beautiful Town ordinance and wait several weeks for weeds to form.

I tried getting one for months, chopped down all my trees, had enough weeds to get Leif down there, littered the place with miscellaneous trash, old boots etc. I never got one and eventually gave up

I think maybe you would just need to get rid of the ordinance for a little while, and I didn't have many weeds, so I don't think you have to have a town full of weeds. Just a bunch of furniture and clothes on the ground in one big area.

As I have found out in one of my towns which HAS the Beautiful Ordinance, you can still get rafflesias, even with the ordinance! Don't weed your town for a good month or so (weeds do grow with that ordinance, just fewer times per week), and eventually, when about 8 to 10 weeds show up, a rafflesia is soon to follow, even with the ordinance! I've had that ordinance, only about a dozen weeds, and there's a nice rafflesia now growing in that town!
