Heya everyone :)

So I have started up my second town yesterday... my first game being quite organic with no time travelling or much plot resetting at all. This second town is going to be my "perfect" town... I have spent hours getting the perfect map and everything is going to be meticulously plotted...

So I was thinking, I need a list of things I need to do... I am going to be doing a lot of time travelling to unlock everything, and have 50mil+ bells I can use... but in case I missed something I thought I would post a list:

So far I have:

- quick travel and talk to Sable each game day to unlock QR codes for paths.
- Pay off all home loans asap to provide storage space
- Buy out shops every game day to unlock upgrades asap
- Replant perfect fruit every time they grow
- Water hybrids each game day, to get as many as possible
- TT to catch all fish & bugs
- Use wetsuit "trick" to unlock a PWP each game day
- Have an open gate day to unlock train station upgrade
- Use my main town to catalogue things I need for my new one
- Plan my villagers for when everything is unlocked, so that I can plot them all in

Anything else guys? What have I missed? Is there anything I can bear in mind to make the process as quick as possible? I have my main town for daily play, so this is really a project in speed planning :)

Umm how about asking for presents from the post office? Like limited-time-only presents

Basically, just do everything you want to do that requires TTing before moving in any dream villagers. Do all the major events you want to do, get your trees and hybrids going, fill out your museum as much as possible, and lay out your paths. Since you have another town to provide resources, you don't have to do that much work except for filling your museum and getting PWPs. Of course, you can always buy most things you need from other people, so don't spend much time trying to get that stuff.

I would suggest getting your dream villagers before you start landscaping and working on paths, etc. That way you can get their houses exactly where you want them, and it'll be sooo much easier to work with everything else once that's done! In the process of that I'd start collecting hybrids, bush starts, sprouts, fruits, items, bells, etc.! That's how I start towns, at any right n_n

Mm, I guess having certain pwp's down can help with villager plot resetting, though. I've never really thought about it, because I change my mind so frequently ;;

Definitely get all your dreamies before you start laying out any kind of paths.

Also, just make sure not to over-play... trying to set up my perfect town & excessivly TT'ing in general is what made me feel burned out. :)
