How does everyone randomize their signature/avatar and it makes it show a different image every time you reload the page?

Some examples: Master Crash's Sigs or Josh.'s Avatars

Well, since everyone's saying it's a randomizer, can I have a link? I can't choose between the one's I want to put in..
