So I have punchy and his card, but not marshals. I gotta relocate marshal but my only way is through the 16 villager cycle, so my question is if I move punchy in and out 16 times does that count as the 16 villager cycle?

i don't think you can keep moving in only punchy over and over again you'd have to cycle with other villager cards other than just his, but this is a good question. idk if amiibo card move ins count towards the 16 cycle. i'd assume so but idk.

Do you think it would work with 4 cards or nah? I'm just going to assume that card villagers count towards the cycle, because there still villagers so I don't see why not.

Can you explain what the 16 villagers cycle is? Thanks, and I'm new.

Basically If you lose a villager, bob for example he is in the void so you cant move him in. in the void 16 villagers is the max and then anyone you get voided overtakes the oldest voided villager, so after bob gets voided I would have to move in & out 16 villagers to overtake the void so I can get him back, a good way of telling is when they no longer show in the shopping district.

I don't think so... I know kicking out villagers with a card doesn't stop others from moving at the same time so I feel like they might be separate things. If you really wanna move marshal I would test this first somehow, losing marshal would be super sad ;-;

What do you mean? like e.g I have jambette's card and Genji is moving soon, so should I try a cycle with the 4 cards and see if I can get genji back?

maybe your best bet is to try to get a marshal amiibo card?
try trading with someone or buying one individually online? maybe testing your luck in the series packs?

I'd love to, but Im too poor and if I traded I'd have to pay for postage >.<
and I checked ebay and they want $15 FOR IT! LIKE OMG ITS JUST A CARD!!! I could buy dozens of packs for that and probably get him, I should've got the season 3 packs as well... even if the packs being only $2 cuz of the Christmas sale I cant even get any. being poor sucks....
