If a villager moves out of your town, is there a possibility they will ever move back in? Being as the point of the game is to collect all their pictures?

I don't think that is THE point of the game, but if you have cycled 16 others out, yes, old ones came move in again.

They can move back after you've allowed 16 others to move, but not before. They won't automatically move back, it's just that it is then possible.

I'd dispute that the point is to get their pictures, but it is a mark of a successful relationship.

The way I work is...

-I build a friendship with the villager before letting them move out
-When they start asking me random questions, I assume their friendship is high enough
-I let them go when they ping
-The mailtime after they move, I get their picture out of the letter

I'm assuming that's what you mean by the picture part.
If you mess up, don't worry. Just move 16 villagers in and out of your town and find them again " then you will have a second chance.

Also, I doubt that's the point of the game. Where would you keep 333 pictures, anyway?
