Quick Question about Villagers Moving in

One of my villagers is gonna move out within a couple days. This is actually the first villager I've had move out since I joined the forum, so now I have acess to the villager trade plaza. I wanted to check this in advance so I don't jump the gun and waste another users time. Does anyone know if i can start adopting villagers right when mine puts her stuff in boxes or do I have to wait a day untill that villager is completely gone?

you'll have to wait until that villager is actually gone and out of your village first.

no problem. it's always about the number of houses in your village at the time. So as long as you have 10 (regardless of if one of them is moving or not), you'll have to wait until that house is completely gone first. always glad to help others out!
