quick dream town advice [POLL]

I have a town that's meant to keep with a theme. (My town is based off the podcast Welcome To Night Vale). I have two houses (alternate characters) where everything fits the theme, and items are meant to go along with the story. However, in my house, only the main room keeps with the story. The rest of the rooms are for me - completed sets I like, nice little rooms I put together, etc.

Should I:

A. Close off all rooms you're able to close off, to make my house fit the theme

B. Keep all the rooms open and do whatever I want

C. Something else (comment)

A. Close off some rooms

I think you should be able to keep whatever kind of rooms you want without it disrupting the continuity of your theme; I'm sure it would be easy to find a way to close off rooms in a way that makes sense with your theme. It would certainly add to the mystery and spookiness!
