Quick amiibo question

I've just lost a favourite villager by accident

(I wanted the villager in the campsite to move in but they selected to replace my favourite villager and I accidentally clicked yes)

My question is: If I get her back in via amiibo, will it be the *same* villager e.g will she remember me and the town or will it be a whole new version of that villager?

No, sadly she wont be the same. You can try to get someone with an empty plot to grab her, and when she comes back, she will be the same.
