Questions about mail delivery

hey guys. I know that mail is delivered every 6am, 9am, and 5pm. but I've tried ordering 4:30pm and it's not delivered at 5pm

so what time should I order from campground/catalog to get the items delivered on 5 PM?

That is weird..I'm guessing you already saved and quit or renentered buildings..
You may have to do it before 4pm it seems..
I can try ordering now and fastforward to 5 and see of I have the same problem

I wouldn't know if there is a deadline, but maybe half an hour is cutting it too short? Maybe it needs at least an hour to register?

Campground items aren't delivered until the next day, reguardless of the time.

I didn't know you could receive mail at 6 am? I might try that out.
Here are the times required from my experience.

Timmy and Tommy and the Nookling Stores - 9 am and 5 pm
Digby and the StreetPass Showcase - Next day
Harvey and the Campground - Next day

Normally I time travel to 4:55 pm or 4:57 pm, order the items, enter my house, wait until 5 pm, leave, and ta-da mail!

Oh so that's why. I thought campground will deliver it at 5pm or 9am. Thanks for the info
