Hello!

So, I've been spending the past while attempting to breed hybrid flowers. I say attempting because I've been running into some difficulties in trying to breed specific types, which has led me to coming up with a few questions in regards to breeding them.

1. Is there a limit on how many hybrid flowers that can be produced everyday?

2. Is there an ideal strategy to producing hybrids? I know fertilizer helps, obviously, and I've heard that the golden shovel does too. Right now, the not so useful strategy I've been using in watering has been to water as many possible hybrid pairs as I can and hope I get something, but if only a few hybrids can spawn everyday, I'll probably shift to sticking to trying to breed a specific hybrid everyday.

3. Are hybrids ever sold in Leif's shop as seed packets?

4. Which hybrids are the easiest to breed, and which ones are the hardest? For me, trying to breed blue roses has been a pain in the butt as I've been watering my patch of purple x orange hybrid red roses for the past week and turned up nothing.

1. I think the limit is 5 hybrids, though I'm not sure if it's more. No less than 5 though.
2. Plant them in the chessboard pattern, and time travel a lot I guess.
3. Only on Weeding Day. Never in the shop.
4. Probably the ones where you don't have to do hybridception, which from my personal experience, I bred black roses, but stuff like blue roses and purple pansies? Some have gone two months and haven't even gotten one.

To get the blue roses, I put my hybrid reds into a diamond and watered only those. I grouped the rest of my flowers in tight clusters and surrounded them with coins or shells so that no hybrids would form there. And I cleaned up my villagers' flowers at the end of each day. It still took more than a month for the first blue rose and a couple weeks for the second, even with my one fertilizer per day. Once I had 2 blues, they were easy to mass produce:)

I gave up and purchased blue pansies.
