Felt like i should ask this before i post: Is it ok to advertise your Discord server in the game forums or something? Didn't want to post it without knowing

Also, with the recent hack, is it SAFE to post a link to a Discord server?

According to the rules:

• Threads and posts created solely to advertise your blog, forum, Tumblr, YouTube, website, shop, contest/entry, etc.. Instead, use your signature to share these websites, but be sure to follow the signature rules.

And in the TBT Direct that was just posted yesterday, there was a clarification on Discord rules that said no advertising other Discords is allowed. However if you just wanted to share a link to something you thought was neat I'm sure it would be fine as long as the content doesn't break TBT's rules.

This is correct. You can advertise chat groups via Skype or Discord or Chatzy or LINE or whatever other application of your choice is. You can also advertise it in your signature on the forum and I believe there’s also a spot in your profile to have it listed as “Your Website”.
