Quick question; I would like to know wether there is a way to know if any of your best friends have un best friended you or if you just aren't their bf?

True, as for friends on your 3DS they'll show up without a "last online" thing, but this also counts for people who have been absent for more than a few months. best friends you can't tell unless they tell you
