Question on campsite resetting

For those of you that campsite reset, is there any way to ensure that there is a tent on a certain day? My only experience in doing this is on the day after the campsite is built when there is guaranteed to be a camper. After that first day is it just completely random if a tent will generate on a given day?

I'm pretty sure it's completely random. Except on the day after campsite is built.. That's why i get so excited when i see a camper in my town haha

For me,it's usually feast or famine when it comes to the campsite.Sometimes I get a lot of campers in a row and sometimes I don't get anything for days.I've noticed that some campsites tend to be more active than others(I have more than one town)and sometimes I'll get more campers when I have a villager moving out.

I agree with Nunnafinga. I once campsite reset thru 72 villagers and they didn't show up for a while, then I got 3 campers in a row!

I can tell you from experience that camp resetting is extremely annoying. I tried to do that when j was looking for Drago and it didn't work for 80% of the time. Maybe it could be just me but I'm not sure.

It's so easy the day after you build it but I guess probably not worth it after that.
