So someone is offering me Shep and I just got a plot open, but on the same day, another dreamie or mine, Fang, came into the campsite
If I fill the empty plot with Shep can I kick another villager out to get Fang?

I think your best bet is to get Fang moved in and time travel till one of your other villagers leaves before getting Shep!

Oh gosh, then I think you might have to choose between Shep and Fang. I think I would personally go for whichever one would be harder to find (whether because they are in higher demand or because they have a smaller chance of spawning in your campsite if you already have villagers of the same personality type).

Not sure if this is the same, but I had Gayle in boxes while moving in another character via Amiibo (two characters in boxes). Someone came and collected Gayle, and my invited villager moved in the next day. The only problem was Gayle's ghost house remained until I kicked her ghost via another Amiibo.

Idk if this will work but if your island is full after accepting Shep, you might be able to get Fang to kick someone else out? If that doesn't work and the other user is going offline soon. You're going to have to choose one. Who ever is top priority.

That was I was thinking, but I'm going to take a risk and try it out because I think my situation is unique and hasn't really happened to anyone, so I'll let you know the results

If you fill the plot with shep and your island is full then Fang will say he needs to talk to resident services when you ask him to move in. He will randomly choose one of your other villagers to kick out in order for him to move in. You won't have a choice on who moves out, you will only be able to say yes or no.

It's actually possible to choose who moves out! If you reset the software before the dialogue is finished, the camper will ask to move in again and they'll chose a new person to move out
