How do you maintain them so well? Ive been to a couple who have two towns and they have both been very nice and organized! Im just wondering a couple more questions;
Do you ever forget that you have two(or more for that matter) towns?
Is it hard to keep track of what Villagers are in what town?
Do you have two 3dss' or just two game cartridges that you switch out?
I would just like to know how people handle it and such!

I have 8 towns.
I have 2 3ds each with a downloaded copy and 6 cartridges. I don't play all the towns, tho. Three of them are "retired" atm.

I keep a list of villagers for each town. Also, I have another list where I write down which villager asked to move, the date they asked and whether I told them to stay or go.

All my towns have the Beautiful Town ordinance so I don't need to water flowers. Daily I just go around each town finding the fossils, talking to all the villagers, doing a few favors for them etc. It takes me about 20-30 minutes for each town. when I have extra time, I spend more time in 1 or 2 towns doing landscaping or placing PWPS.

I mainly have multiple (4 ATM) copys of my games data (garden.DAT) so I can just import what ever data I want to use and export it when i'm done.

I have two towns. I purchased another copy because I was curious if I would like it and now I barely play it, it shocks me that people can have 5+ towns and keep them all in shape everyday. I just like my main town the best ^.^

I'm currently maintaining five towns (three of mine and two of my hubby's). I'm not actually working on his; I just make sure no one moves out.

It really isn't that difficult to maintain, especially if you just dedicate maybe twenty minutes a day to each. Or keep track of which towns just had a villager try to move that you stopped, since you can take as long a break as needed from that point.

I have 3 copies of the game, with only 2 being used atm.

One is Clarity, my main town, the one I have to manage the most. It's rather stressful, since I'm now in the designing/landscaping stage of the town, while also trying to hunt down my last two dream villagers.

The second is Cloudluv, my cycling town. It was the game I got back in 2013, so it was my first town, but I was unhappy with it so now I only use it for the cycling. And the time traveling helps me with the weeding badge too, in a way.

I guess it's easy to mange them both, considering I only really need to focus on one. I have a 3DS and a 2DS, but I'm hoping to turn my third copy into an actual town someday, once Clarity is completed.

I have 6. I only play one at a time. When I want to switch to a different town, I just stop playing the current one on a day that I stopped a villager from moving. That way, no one will have moved when I decide to play that game again.

As for keeping track of villagers, I just seem to remember who lives in what town. I have one 3ds, but my daughter has one that I use once in awhile.

I have 4 real town. Each town is set in a different season and time.
Main town is real time. Guest town is in March set for the afternoon. Beautiful town has a mover stopped and is frozen in May.
Newest town is in Dec.
Play my main town and my guest town everyday for an hour each. If I have time I play my newest town. Right now I stopped a mover so I don't have to play it.

It helps to have them set so they don't land on Saturday. One time I had a bug off in one town and a fishing tournament in another town. That was too much. Fixed it the next time I had a mover.

Playing four town stuck on the same date would be too much. Some players use a calendar to write down the last day they played. I use the Game Notes when I freeze a town and stick a label on the game box with the date last played. The activity log wouldn't work when you have a lot of towns on one or 2 3DS.

I have 2 towns and 2 3ds but I rarely play them both at the same time. I tend to switch from one to the other. I try to stop playing a town when a villager has asked to leave or when the town only has 8 villagers so that I don't lose any.
