Question for people with dreamies: did you get all personality types?

Really tempted to boot my jock and uchi villagers for the ones I really want because those are the personality types I like the least and the 10 villager limit suckssssss

I have at least one of every personality, I like variety. I have an extra normal and an extra lazy.
I would've had Jacques or Kabuki over Poppy though but neither suit my town theme.

I am honestly thinking of kicking Hazel out and giving the uchi slot to another peronality. I just cant click with them this time for some reason. The only issue is that i read you need every personality to complete unlocking reactions, same with DIYs.

my dreamies include 3 normal villagers so sadly jock has been left out of the list. But one of them is a sanrio villager so I guess I can keep a jock until my baby etoile is able to be scanned in again c:

when it comes to dreamies, i'm more about looks than i am personality. i don't really care for uchi or jock personalities, so i don't mind if they're not on my island

I find that I prefer the variety even if I’m not a fan of the personality type (lookin at you, jocks). None of my 4 dreamies have personality overlaps though, so it’s a bit easier to manage who I’m willing to boot

I don't care about personalities. If they're cute, they're cute and I want them.

I have one of each personality, I'll have a duplicate of normal and cranky though because I want both Static + Tom and Poppy + Fauna. I like to have a variety!

No, I'm missing a jock but the only jock I would consider is Genji but I already have Mira as my rabbit and I don't like to repeat species for variety!

I don't plan on having a Jock or a Ucchi in my final town layout but I have them temporarily in order to get the reactions you get from them.

Yeah but I always end up with a few extra normal villagers bc so many of them are really cute.

i sacrificed a normal for 4 smugs, though i'm kinda thinking about dropping colton ever since i came across lolly (felt so bad about not taking her when she was at my campsite!!), but i'm really reluctant about it. like he better prove to me that a normal is more worth it i guess?

I have every personality excepy snooty. I'm in dire need of one. Having two villager personalities of thr same isn't always fun and I don't think you'll be missing on anything if you don't have a certain personality except for diys that are connected to said personality.

I can't take two of the same personality, honestly. The villagers repeat dialogue enough already.

i always try to get all the personalities for the variety! --if not for that (and if we had more dialogue for the villagers) i would probably be sitting here with an island full of crankies, though.

plus i'm pretty sure each personality has a pool of DIYs they give out, so there's also that, too! (i've been trying to track them.) i'd worry about missing out on recipes or having to rely on friends/messages in a bottle all the time otherwise.

Does “Dreamies” purely refer to the ones you’ll have in your game, or could you have more than ten because it’s just about them being your favorite villagers?

That said, I have favorites across all personalities, and I’m definitely going to have one of each type. We already get to have two duplicates anyway, and I wouldn’t want more if it meant giving up on whole dialogue sets.

I’m kinda surprised so many people dislike uchis though—looks I can understand because there aren’t many good designs, but their personality is one of the best in this game imo. I like how they’re tough and caring at the same time. Honestly, Katt seems like the most genuine person on my Island. I love her.

people do probably use it a bit differently! at least for me, my favourites are my favourites, but my dreamies are just the ones i'd ideally like for my town. and it definitely overlaps!

I personally didn't. I'm missing a cranky and an uchi. Maybe somewhere down the line I'll get a cranky or uchi villager but for now I'm content with the villagers that I have.
