Question for path users: Do you use water pieces too?

i would LOVE to tbh but i really don't want to make a pattern mule. it just sucks because walking paths don't really need to have corners and stuff on the end but with water they do so you need at least five to make a square with it.

I don't use water patterns because I already have a path which has 2 spaces on the ground. So a water pattern would take away too much space.
Of course I would love to have them, but yeah, only if there was enough space...

Yep!

I have 3 characters, and all of them hold paths.

My main character hold 7 main paths and a free space for designs
My second character holds 4 main paths and 4 water paths
My third character * sis character * holds 2 bridge paths, 3 tiles and 3 empty slots

If you have lots of characters with free slots, its good, and it looks great on the ground ^~^

Yeah, water patterns can take up quite a bit. I have 6 water patterns (And could probably use more, but I tried to do the basic amount I could do) and you'd need as many as a main path for the most versatile.

I dont have them. When I see them in dream in other peoples town, it doesn`t look very appealing to me in honesty. Its to "flat."

I've tried to use them but they look so out of place, so I ended up removing them and replacing it with flower patterns. I'm still looking for a really nice looking water pattern.

No, it looks ugly.

They look ugly when you can't place them properly

If your looking for water patterns, you can PM me. I have a ton of japanese websites for water patterns.

I do have a water pattern in my town, it took me a while to find one I liked but I think it looks pretty :). it's held by one of my mule characters and takes four spaces.

Nah. I think they can look pretty, but the fact that they aren't "functional" and you can walk over them kind of ruins the illusion for me.

lol my path consists of three designs, and it includes water. Why is everyone so complicated? :?

I went to a dream town, and they had these little hearts with water in them, and so I stole the brick, the water heart, and the flower heart. They look awesome <3

I have water patterns in my town. c:

I mostly use them to surround buildings, and in the middle of my entrance path from the train station.

Yep! I have water in my patterns but, as you say, Nacy, it is supposed to use corners so you need a lot of patterns. In my case, though, I got a pattern without corners as seen below:

So for water I only use 3 patterns, cool, huh?

I'd rather not use any path designs that take more than 1 space, even though I prefer a path width of 2 squares. It makes towns very pretty, yes, but take up a lot of space and I wouldn't want to have to make mule characters.

I use them! I've got a few different ones. One set that only takes up 4 spaces in my main town, and another much bigger one in my 2nd town which can take up a huge amount of space.

Single square moats Like the bottom one are pretty economic, and the more modular ones like the top one can be as space consuming as you make them. I've seen some without boarders many that only take a small amount of space, or if you have all the corners, edges, and even inside corners it can take 2 mules.

I tried to use the water patterns once, but I lack inspiration to where put it!

In other towns it looks so nice, but when I do it, it's meh....

Also the illusion doesn't really work if you walk over them...
