Question for Night Time play?

So I plan on playing tonight when it finally become available. But I heard in a review video that Nook closes at 10pm (or whoever you sell stuff at)

So is there anyway to sell fish/bugs at nightime or do I need to wait until morning?

I believe there is going to be a drop box outside for you to place items in. Dont think you will get paid until the next day but I am unsure at the moment

Once you’ve upgraded to town hall and Nook’s Cranny, there is a drop box outside the front door. You put stuff in then you’re paid the next day

I believe this is the correct answer. It isn't until you upgrade to the actual building that the dropbox becomes available, and operating hours become a thing. At least that's how I understand it.

Resident services is open 24/7 but once you upgrade and get the twins shop there will most likely be restrictions on times due to the shop hours.

That's right. I was playing yesterday until 22:40 and it was open.
