Question for gold shopper badge

I read that ordering stuff from catalog does not count.Does buying furniture from gracie count?

I'd say yes. I found this in the wikia: The Shopper badge is awarded to players who have spent a fair amount of Bells on items from shops on Main Street. Bells spent buying turnips from Joan, as well as any purchases for services from Nook's Homes, Re-Tail, Shampoodle, or the Fortune Shop do not count. Items ordered through the Nookling Stores' shopping kiosk also do not count.

It does work. I used myt boyfriends town to buy all the gracie sets and hes got it now

Maybe you'll get lucky and find a crown in the Able Sister's shop. I remember I found three crowns in less than a month and got my gold shopper badge shortly after that. I haven't seen a crown since then, though.

I'd spam the shop anyway, because if you're a badge collector it will eventually help with the catalog badge

I got my badges from buying everything in the shop every single day. Well, I didn't go as far as to buy things I knew I'd already got. If I saw something I knew wasn't already in my catalogue then I'd buy it. I think a large contribution to my gold badge was from buying furniture sets from Gracie.
