Question: Do moved in villagers ever forget about their old town?

I found, that through cycling, some villagers will keep talking about their old town. It gets annoying... Will they ever stop?

I think they do eventually as long as you keep talking to them.

I had Diana in my old town and stopped talking to her for a long time and when I started to talk to here again she mentioned it once or twice and that was it

If you think that's annoying don't let anyone speak to your villagers ever!

I've had Rudy for a while, he's given me his pic and everything, but every once in a while he'll whistle his old town tune lol. I think it's cool because that means some of my old villagers out there are annoying someone with tales of my town!

I'm pretty sure they don't, but I don't think it's a mega common occurrence either, my Eunice is from someone elses town, and only very rarely talks about her old town.

Nope. Never. I got Pashmina from one of my secondary towns, and every once in a while she mentions the former mayor, sings the tune, generally talking about it, and it's like YEAH, I KNOW, THAT MAYOR WAS ME!!!
