Question, can I still use eShop giftcards on 3Ds

I live in Canada and is looking to buy an eShop giftcard, the problem is the only system I own is the 3Ds and I'm afraid that it won't work because it's a dead console, anyone know? Thanks, Tea

Yeah, it should work! As far as I know, the same cards work for Wii U, 3DS, and Switch.
