So I see that Wolf Link can move into your town if you use the amiibo to get him but im super curious about him? If Wolf Link is in boxes in someone else village are you able to pick him up and make him move into your town? I was just curious about this.

Villagers from amiibo figures + the sanrio villager cards can't be adopted from another town. You need to scan them in and ask them to move in from the RV yourself :0

I have a question on this topic, too, then. How do people do cycling towns? Not with amiibo cards?

Villagers from regular villager amiibo cards (series 1-4) + the WA/RV (that arent Sanrio) cards are able to be adopted from another town! I'm pretty sure all the new villagers that were introduced only when the Welcome Amiibo update came out can't be adopted from another town :>
Also it is possible to have a cycling town without using cards, it's just a lot more time traveling and unpredictable.

Thank you, Cryptade. I also see now that you said amiibo figures, not cards. :)

I guess you know of the reddit update faq but will put in as the whole guide is useful - tells you what amiibo figures will give you access to Wolf-link - for me in the UK these amiibo are generally highly priced, too high for my taste. But if you keep looking they sometimes come into stores for retail price - in which case buy fast. Might be a lot easier in the US.

Although you can't adopt Wolf_link (& others from amiibo figurines/san rio cards) - I thought you could visit them in another players RV campsite (if they scan them in for you) and hence you could buy their furniture?
Its something, but its frustrating, not being able to get hold of a villager you would like to have (& I like smugs & wolves).

Not relevant but the likelihood of even getting Wolf-link in boxes is fairly low, not impossible but low - as the scanned in villagers from RV vans/amiibo figurines don't ask to move - I think you have to have 8 amiibo scanned in villagers before they ask - well they can ask before this, but it is seemingly rare.
